Health Insurance Help in Pinellas Park, From One Advisor

We help you compare individual and family health insurance, ACA Marketplace plans, and dental, vision and accident coverage. The person you speak with first stays with you through enrollment and the questions that come after. We work with clients in Pinellas Park, Largo, Seminole and nearby, by phone, video or at our office.

Coverage We Help You Choose

Some clients reach out because they have no coverage and no idea where to begin. Others already have a plan and suspect the premium is higher than it should be. Either way, we look at individual health insurance, family health insurance and ACA Marketplace plans, including whether you qualify for a premium tax credit. We also add dental insurance, vision insurance and accident insurance where they actually fill a gap, not as extras you never use.

  • Individual Health Insurance

Coverage for one adult, compared across carriers by the same advisor from your first call through enrollment and beyond.

  • Family Health Insurance

One advisor compares family plans from several carriers, checks your doctors and the full family deductible, and helps you enroll everyone on one policy.

  • ACA Marketplace Plans

We check what tax credits you qualify for, line up Marketplace plans side by side and help you enroll, with the same person handling your file throughout.

  • Dental Insurance

Side-by-side dental plans from several carriers, with clear answers on networks, waiting periods and annual maximums before you enroll.

  • Vision Insurance

Vision plans that cover yearly eye exams and help pay for glasses or contacts, compared across carriers by one advisor who stays with you.

  • Accident Insurance

Supplemental coverage that pays you a set cash benefit after a covered injury, to help with deductibles, copays and the bills that pile up while you heal.

A Small Team for a Personal Decision

We work for people who are tired of call centers and websites that bury the important details. Choosing health coverage means talking about your health, your money and your family, and that conversation is easier with someone you get to know.

So we stay small. The advisor you meet handles your plan from the first question to the renewal, and we keep our client list at a size where we can still return your calls ourselves. We focus on individual, family, Marketplace, dental, vision and accident coverage, and we explain each one in plain language.

What Sets Your Monthly Price

Health insurance pricing looks random at first, yet it follows rules. A handful of factors account for most of what you pay each month and at the doctor. Knowing them explains why one person can get two very different quotes.

Every quote we give you uses current carrier rates for your age, your county and how many people the plan covers. We walk through the numbers with you on the phone so your first bill matches what you expected.

How old you are and whether you smoke
Premiums on individual plans rise with age, and a carrier may charge extra if you use tobacco. Between them, these two move your monthly cost more than almost anything else.
Your income and the tax credit
On ACA Marketplace plans, what you expect to earn this year decides whether a premium tax credit applies and how large it is. We work through a careful estimate with you so the credit fits how your year actually goes.
Metal tier and deductible
Bronze, silver, gold and platinum plans balance the monthly premium against what you owe each time you see a doctor or need medication. A smaller premium usually comes with a bigger deductible, which can suit you if you rarely use care.
HMO, EPO or PPO network
HMO and EPO plans tend to be cheaper but limit you to their own doctors. PPO plans also pay toward providers outside the network, and you pay a higher premium for that choice. Which fits best depends on the doctors you see now.
Everyone on the policy
Adding a spouse or kids changes the price and can change which plan makes sense. Because family plans price each person separately, we check whether one shared plan really works for everyone.
Add-on plans
Dental, vision and accident coverage each carry their own premium. We suggest one only when its benefits are worth more than you would pay out of pocket without it.

Why Clients Stay With Us

We keep our team small on purpose. It means the advisor who learns your situation is the same one who answers when something changes.

You don't get passed around

Your first call, your plan comparison, your enrollment and your follow-up questions all go to the same person. You never have to repeat your doctor list or your budget to someone new.

Options side by side

Each carrier's plan gets its own column, so the monthly bill, the deductible, the most you could owe in a year and the doctor list are easy to read at a glance. You see the trade-offs in plain numbers and decide for yourself.

No cost to you

The consultation carries no fee. Having us check your options costs you nothing, since the carrier whose plan you pick pays us rather than you.

Your doctors and medications come first

Before we suggest anything, we check whether the doctors you see and the medications you take are covered. A low premium is no bargain if your specialist is out of network.

Honest when you're already set

If the plan you have is the right fit, we tell you so. We would rather keep your trust than move you onto a new policy for its own sake.

How Working With Us Goes

Most clients get from first call to a clear choice in one or two conversations. Here is what happens along the way.

  1. 1

    An easy first conversation

Call the number on this page and tell us what changed, whether it is a new job, a new baby or a premium that went up. We ask about your doctors, your medications, your budget and how often you need care.

  2. 2

    Plans laid out together

We pull plans from several carriers and go over them with you by phone, by video or at a table in our office. Each plan's monthly cost, deductible and network appear on one page, with our honest opinion on each.

  3. 3

    Enrolling together

Once you pick a plan, we go through the application with you on a phone call and recheck names, dates and income before sending it. We let you know your start date and what mail to expect.

  4. 4

    One advisor after you enroll

If a claim is confusing or your income shifts during the year, you call the person who set up your coverage. Each open enrollment, we look at whether your plan still suits you.

What Clients Want to Know

Is your help actually free?
It is. We charge no consultation fee. We are paid by the carrier whose plan you pick, and your premium does not change whether you enroll through us or alone.
When am I allowed to enroll in a health plan?
Open enrollment for ACA Marketplace plans runs every fall into January. At other times you usually need a qualifying life event, like losing work coverage, moving, marrying or having a baby, to use a special enrollment period. Dental, vision and accident plans tend to have looser timing, and we can check what fits your case.
Can I keep seeing my doctors?
We check that early on. Share your doctors' names and your medications, and we search each plan's network and drug list before suggesting anything.
How can I tell if I get a subsidy?
It mostly comes down to your expected income for the year and how many people are on your tax return. We work with you to land on a realistic income number, then show the Marketplace price after any premium tax credit, so it lines up fairly against your other options.
Can we put the whole family on one plan?
Usually, though it is not always the least expensive route. Kids may qualify for other coverage, or a spouse may have a work plan worth keeping. We price both ways so you can see which costs less in total.
Does it have to be an in-person meeting?
No. Most clients work with us over the phone or by video, and they can enroll that way too. If you would like to meet face to face, we can arrange it at our office.
Who do I call if something goes wrong after enrolling?
You reach the same advisor who helped you pick the plan. We can make sense of a confusing bill, explain what a claim covers or look into switching plans if your life changes and you qualify.
